Krishna Consciousness or Vaishnavism explained by the most accurate translator of the Vedas. Like all organised religions ISCKON is now controlled by the elite. The original books and lectures are still available however. I believe in the one source: Krishna, God, Jah or Jehovah. This is positive vibrations to me: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OXwi601VnVc |

Hi Rob, Its rather a small deal to believe in God you are right. I have been Christianed but i didnt ask to be. We live in a rather atheistic society dont we, as money has become God. Have you read Thomas A Kempis, An Imitation of Christ. Its an amazing book. http://www.leaderu.com/cyber/books/imitation/imitation.html |

Pilgrim, Thanks for putting up that link to Imitations of Christ. I have the book somewhere on my shelves but I have favourited this online version to look at daily. Another excellent book is the Cloud of Unknowing. Most of the fundementalist Christians of today know nothing of these earlier writings and probably wouldn't understand them anyway. Dear Rob sounds like a follower of that awful Israeli apologist Hagee. No doubt he is yearning for the rapture. Still at least he is on this forum and keeping his mind open somewhat. |

also narinder quoted - Quantum physics has confirmed that Time is an illusion created by thought. The past, present and future is happening in the NOW. Since world is an illusion created by thought, how can we say: where did it come from? where is the begining etc...this analysis is based on an illusionary time. What if we have simply forgotten or caught in an amnesia hypnotic trance in our minds? and thought we have forgotten we are the dream and the dreamer or creation and the creator? There's an ancient Hindu myth that said: human consciousness had begun as a ripple that decided to leave the ocean of consciousness the "timeless, spaceless and eternal". When it awakened to itself in this "disconnected" state, the myth said, it forgot that it was part of the infinite ocean and felt isolated and separated. I couldnt agree more with you narinder, i have felt this from the age of realisation (early teens). I have never "bought" into the idea of religion. As Terrence Mckenna says; "no god of his would make us toil through the mud", something like that, this rings true with me. We are no doubt "infinate consciousness" with free will to do as we like, that includes murder and all the other bad things we deem bad. In a physical existence we are more animalistic due to "evolution" (even though i believe in the past, present, and future is ALL in the NOW). Evolution is maybe an other illusion we are carnated into believing because of the seemingly physical world we perceive it to be, added with the conditioning process from day one of carnation. Doesnt the bible preach that god is everywhere, yes he is, he/she is us, we are everything, everything is us. We are a "self creation". What come 1st.... the chicken or the egg ? If a branch snaps in the woods, does it make a noise if there is'nt nothing there to hear it ? Mind boggling when we try and answer these types of questions, we live in a 5 sense realm, with only 10% of our brains in use. In my opinion we have regressed to this 10% of brain power, maybe mass religion played a part in this, we may have used 50% of our brains at some point in this illusoury, so-called reality. Somewhere along the line we have definatley "lost" knowledge of who, why, and what we are. Is this the so-called "holy grail", some say this is just knowledge what the templars held, so maybe they did know the true meaning of life/reality, and religion. Doesnt religion evolve ? And wasnt it mans hand that writ the bible ? Something i read (maybe in a david icke book) said it was the "piso" family of italy that wrote (or put together) the 1st of the new testament, and isnt there 50 odd versions of the new testament ? i could be wrong. I dont mind if other people go to religion to lead a good honest life, with morals. I say go where you feel, if the good book does it for you thats cool with me, however, no god controls my reality, i would like to believe that i control it, but when there is another 6 billion or so humans on this physical plain it can be hard to shape ones reality especially with the "negativity" inwich these so-called leaders put in front of us on a daily basis. We are kept in fear enough living without having to be scared sh**less of some supernatural being that is watching over you constantly, this is as hard to believe for me, just like the idea that men in a cave did 911, infact the more i think about it, the more it all feels absurd. Fear is the final frontier! It is man that puts fear in the now global arena, so man writ the bible to keep fear in the masses, this is how easy it is to condition people from carnation - http://quicksilverscreen.com/watch?video=12565 This is only on a small scale, so over a time of thousands of years its easy to understand why there is over a billion christians in the world, added with all the muslims, jews, and buddhists. In some respects its easy to start a belief system, and with every belief system things can get distorted, especially over thousands of years, hence 50 odd versions of the bible, dont most christians go off the "king james the 1st ?" version wich was written in the early 1600's under the vise of "francis bacon". the good friend of dr john dee who was heavily invovled in the occult and the "enocian majik" (if thats spelt correctly), so in this alone something smells fishy (and i dont mean grimsby). Idea's evolve just like religion! and religion upto now has been the BIGGEST idea that has been dictated and followed by the flocks (of sheep), the illuminati calls us cattle without the vicar hoping for his "flock" to turn up. Again, i dont want to put any religion below my beliefs, as its just belief, if anyone doesnt share my belief it doesnt bother me, and i will only debate it rather than push it. I am as firm in my belief as any christian, muslim, jew, and buddhist are in theirs, however, i am in a minority of people that share the same belief as me, its good to find people on this forum that do believe the same..... didnt gallileo get slammed for his beliefs ? and look at it now. I am just glad in my case that i am not running around scared of some mystical figure all the time via religions, and most of all imposing it on my children! If there IS a god, who the hell made him ? the chicken or the egg ? Bill Hicks when he used to say this on the stage brings it all home to me - "Matter is merely energy condensed to a slow vibration; that we are all one consciousness experiencing itself subjectively; there is no such thing as death, life is just a dream, and we are the imagination of ourselves." This lights my fire more than any religous book. I dont even swallow all the new age stuff, this to me is another start of mass hysteria. Havnt we had enough of that ???????? I also believe there is just as much "inner-space" as there is "outer-space", isnt there 120 billion miles of DNA in our bodys ? if this is the case where the eck does ALL this fit, along with everything else ? this makes me sway to the belief that even the universe is all in our heads. When we drive somewhere it is only our mind that goes anywhere in a sense because without the mind there isnt no car. The snapping branch doesnt make a noise if there aint no "ear-drums" there whatsoever to hear it. Lets just say that our minds are a very very powerfull tool.... | ||||

We are still in troubled times and this postive forum had gone a bit stale/ Who still believes in God? I just want to shout my message. Its real simple too. i know im going to either piss a few of you off or you will laugh and point at me. I dont really care about that. smile.gif God is supposed to be in the centre of all religions. Maybe it once was. There are a few rare people who still practice worship, love and serve God. We can call him Jah, Jehovah, Allah, Yahweh, Krishna or The Good Lord. People come to preach and tell people similiar things and then they are writtten down in scrïptural form. This energy and power of God is bigger than all the Zionists and Vatican put together. They are envious of this. They infilitrate every religion. Introduce bogus gurus and abusive priests in every church, temple and mosque and let the corruption continue. All thats left of religion today are the cheaters and the cheated. However: It doesnt mean that all practices or scrïptures are corrupt. I can pick out a proverb from the Koran, Bible or Bhagavad Gita and get something very pure and true which speaks today with my contemporary eyes and ears. I can listen to a Jamaican dub record and learn more about the Bible that way than a month of sundays in mass. How can such fanatstic music such as this or early classical religious music be inspired by God if HE doesnt even exist ? God believes in you. God is alive. Praise the Lord. Amen, Hare Krishna, Kristos Anesti,Waisaalm Waillikum, A dieu |

Experience = Essense of Universe Everything = Universe Universe x Consciousness = God Therefore... God = Consciousness x Everything Thus... essense of God = consciousness x experience Hence... We are all one and aspects of God --Last edited by ants on 2008-01-12 23:50:58 -- |
