For a start they are not water vapour trails! It's now a huge subject so a simple Google request for Chemtrails will get you started. Look for a site called Carnicom, I think.

Look up everyday for a few seconds you will see them occasionally with your own eyes.

I saw chemtrails over York yesterday - Friday 25 - 1 - 2008 and pointed them out to a workmate who was absolutely staggered.

I would roughly agree with Icke's estimation,as espoused in his Global Conspiracy book, that a primary function of chemtrailing is to interact with Haarp, and I would contend also with the "mobile phone" mast network as an integral part of that system, to produce a kind of celestial plasma soup aimed at slowing and deadening the quickening of the earth's and whole solar system's vibrational rate.
The latter effect brings about an expansion of human consciousness in a widespread and rapid fashion, thus threatening the security and bringing about the exposure of all the parasitic personages and entities that are in control of the deepening mess. It threatens their whole damned show, and the trails are part of their global prison scheme.
Two metals frequently involved, barium and aluminium, have excellent conductivity in aerosol form, though it should be note that ingested Barium Carbonate is closely associated with stunting of the intellect and loss of fertility, whilst aluminium has been closely associated with Alzheimers. The plasma theory does not explain the biological substances in the chemtrails, such as mycoplasma pneumoniae and other pathogens,or the blood platelets,  or the "spider web" phenomenon, and the apparent connectedness between some ct-associated substance with Morgellons Syndrome.
Another part of the operation is probably connected to the depopulation agenda

Can't we sue someone for the detriment to our health? I'm looking for someone to sue!

How about making a dossier about Chemtrails in our local area, and then visiting the local newspaper, as it is a local story maybe they would publish an account of what is happening.

Take the same dossier to a local solicitor and ask, “Who do I sue ?”
