Have had a positive response from Calum from Oxford to do a stint in the North. Posting very positively on the national forum and with a good presentation. Noel says he's young and good looking, and with a very good and convincing presentation
My impression is that Calum would be good folk to address the student audience if we can fit him in somewhere

Nice one Paul, I've often wondered is Calum would like to take his show on the road. I'm sure his presentation is a work of rigour and something to truly behold.

I'm pretty sure he would be great to address the students, especialy the denialist ones who are delusional, thinking they are part of the establishment. Ha! They are ten a penny.

Let us know of any developements.

Yes, sounds good. He's a good lad, knows his stuff - met him at the 5th anniversary weekend in London, and my friend went to see his presentation in Oxford and was very impressed.

Queer that you've edited this post since last time though dh, what bent your view?
Love from Ho-Mo.

I thought it might be construed as a homophobic comment, which me being an equally old bi,it patently wasn't.
Mind you,I say that but I'm completely celibate at the moment, unless the term includes masturbation.
By choice of course - there's a couple of young fillies I could be humping at this very moment, if I had a mind to, though not necessarily simultaneously.
Hmmm - might have to come back and edit this post because it looks sexist and pitiably fantasist.

I spoke to Calum while I was in Totnes. He's well up for doing northern stuff. Personally I'd like us to invite him up when the weather gets nice. He's a keen rock-climber so hopefully we can routes in while he's up here surrounded by the best boulding this side of Paris (controversial i know).

No idea what any of that climbing jargon means 'we can routes in while he's up here', 'the best boulding this side of Paris'. I've no clue what boulding is, and nor do I take any nationalistic pride in it. But, whatever floats your boat I suppose, same goes to dh too in respect to your post.

More than keen to host his show and he seems a popular chap, this 'fair-weather friend' we have.

He'll be up in Lancaster in mid/late April, seems logical to coincide the event with the WY group if you're up for it and if Calum has time?
