Egokiller TV are doing a Big Brother/Surveillence special at Dr. Wu's on call lane this Sunday. It's starting around 5 and going on till late.  

We can have a stall for the sale of DVDs, books etc..

Please come down if you can, it would be nice for some of you to meet Greg from Egokiller TV and there should be loads of receptive people to talk to about our cause.

Will definitely be there for the first two or three hours. Where is it? is Greg the 'egokiller' on the old David Icke forum? I contacted him a couple of times

A very good event this, and the Egokiller lot seem a good one to support as far as we can, and I'd like to insist that we try to make it along to as many of their dos, film showings etc as possible. I believe April 1st at Dr Wu's will be the next film showing, where we should bring as many leaflets, dvds, books, and people as we can. It's a pleasant wee evening out too, a comendation for a bar in Leeds I very rarely give - no, actually it's probably a first, I do despise Leeds' bar culture. And very refreshing to be able to hold some decent conversations too, away from all the Nathan Barley types you usually have to contend with, see the link here for a perfect example of what I'm saying -

What the f**k was that video all about? I managed to watch three minutes of it. Who is Nathan Barley and what has he got to do with Leeds or this forum?

That's the sort of nonsense, and twisted logic you can expect from a usual conversation in Leeds. Try it, trust me, you'll be depressed for weeks.

One small interjection... whilst I wouldn't condone or perhaps even allow overcursing on this forum, if you feel moved to use an expletive, please use it without asterisks or other modifications. There's no software activated to censor such language usage and there won't be. Mind you, at one stage it appeared to be found very clever on the old David Icke forum by some posters to "cunt" this and "cunt" that which set up a whole level of aggressive talk. Such a phenomenon would be disallowed, - haven't consulted my fellow mods on this - I believe, but for the added emphasis from time to time, I think it's ok.

Fair enough - you can't move for the swearing in Nathan Barley, but that's Morris and Brooker for you - if they've something to say then they f****** well say it. But why the no asterisk stance?

Thing is I never swear here anyway, apart from the quote above and my attempt to be funny here, so this doesn't really concern me anyway.

Yes, the point makes a great deal of sense dh, although I believe any self-censorship on these pages are more to conform to the desires of market forces and to give this forum, despite it's dark connotations, and layout, a more family friendly appearance. I do enjoy the cathartic qualities garnered from a good old swear though, and it's wrong to supress such innate human needs.
