This forum suggested by Riaz. Good idea I think. We put on a show quite regularly, but is this enough? We can do all sorts of stuff in all sorts of places. It doesn't have to be a guy presenting in a room. We need some musical stuff - we should be promoting gigs at suitable venues. Is there any reason why we should not promote a regular one in Hebden Bridge Trades Club? Or the 1 in 12, or other venues in Leeds or Huddersfield or anywhere else? How about leafletting. Or getting stalls at other events? Joining other demos with that bloody banner we never get around to,(suggest the  colour and I'll at least get the calico- whatever that is) Bit of brainstorming, brothers and sisters. Bring your own personal preferences, skills, connections, knowledge to bear.
Situationist street events, direct action (take care what you post here - remember we're under oppression right now and imminently worse if we don't make all this work).
The brainstorming rules - even if you're unwilling to undertake it yourself you can at least suggest it.Someone else may be able to run with it
Cheers
Paul

We can certainly do much more in west yorkshire, 1 in 12 sounds good or I though Brudanell was a good venue for the student crowd. Forging links into the Leeds music scene is something that is in its infancy but is essential; the evenings a at Raise the Roof are great.

There was mention of musical events.
The Leeds scene is cliquey and wary of polital endeavours however there are lots of gigs on all the time, which is great for talking, leafletting and getting peoples email addresses....
Try for ideas...
