In unprecedented numbers, 1,000 riot police raided a whole street in Islington yesterday, down the road from me. I watched the MET's new hi-tech, heat-seeking helicopter in action. This was an excessive over-reaction to petty criminals operating in Blackstock Road. While I don't condone law-breaking, this operation appeared more like a drill, for what will soon become the norm, in every situation and circumstance.

The above according to the Evening Standard article, averaging 186 cops to raid each address! Talk about overkill. The problem is that the police have got too many resources & are hugely overfunded by craven politicians totally under their control.
