A new 'Sonic Teenage Deterrent' (Mosquito) which emits an 80-decibel noise only teenagers can hear has been installed, for the first time, on MY ESTATE, in Tufnell Park, to drive away 'anti-social' youths who socialise there.



Their "crimes" include, spitting, littering and spliffing! Do these 'offences' really warrant this?

I know most of these youths and their parents, the only people who are bothered about them hanging around are the pensioners who have been so brainwashed by the gun/knife hype that they are scared of their own shadow.

They are also accused of organsied dog fighting which is a bare-faced lie. Yes, some of them have dogs, as a fashion accessory, but they are much loved, well cared for pets. They let them PLAY together, which sometimes involves barking, dogs are inclined to do that!

This is unfair and unjustified discrimination against innocent kids who have NO-WHERE else to go.

I used to know a middle aged South African man who lived on your estate or nearby a few years ago. He was an unusually small man, a midget? You may have known him. He was set upon by a gang of young thugs, hoodies and severely kicked and beaten about the head. These cowardly brutes beat him till he was unconscious. I saw him a week later and he was unrecognisable. His head was swollen to twice it's normal size. He was very lucky to be still alive.

 I believe he was picked upon regularly on the estate because of his size. A tiny man whom they no doubt considered a freak who deserved a beating because he looked different.

You're aging rapidly Mick (grumpy old fucker-wise). Some young people are 'feral' most arent. We might all have a bad tale to tell.
Your solution would probably result in most poorer teenagers being locked up in detention camps to their mid-twenties, which would appear to be the intention, though not confined to the age bracket

Never heard of, or seen this midget guy and some of these "feral" youths are mine. One is studying animation at Luton University and the other training as a sports coach.

Hi Mick. I agree with your sentiment entirely. But I cannot and will not indorse the use of any non-letahl weapons. However with over 150 people dead, I fail to see where the state says the Tazar is "non-leathal". If this pain compliance weapon gets in. That will open the door for more like it or wors to be used, eg. Microwave weapons for one used against peacful dissedents. But these little thugs do need bringing to task.

If you ask these "little thugs" why they behave the way they do, the unanimous reply is BOREDOM!! The youths have no realistic or worthwhile job prospects, nothing to do and nowhere to go...

Surely that is the crux of the matter and the issue that should be addressed.

Don't tar them all with the same brush and attack them with non-lethal weapons. If they start using this sonic device to disperse demonstrators instead of kids, will you still be in favour?

I hope we don't fall out, Orgone, because I usually enjooy what you post but I'm sorry, this "bored" excuse has been used since I was a kid. The poor young sweeties are bored and have nothing to do. That has always been the lament of teenagers but in days gone by they didn't go around attacking and knifing people.
 Yet another friend of mine was assaulted by two 13 year olds the other week. She was walking along the pavement when two kids on bikes deliberately sideswiped her . She fell to the ground badly bruised while they tore away scowling and spitting like they do. An ambulance had to be called and she was badly shook up.
Why don't the parents on the estate get together and organise kids events? Football matches, hip hop contests, hikes in the country, picnics on the Heath, dog training lessons, bicycle maintainence, sports days, coach trips. There are lots of things parents can organise instead of waiting for the council to provide.
 Elecution lessons would be good. Get them to drop that Asian/Jamaican patois that they all speak with now. Give them Cockney lessons.
 Ah to hell with it, lock all teenagers up in FEMA camps!

Stop fucking them over with health targets, testing, vaccination, new labour newspeak,empty pc management rigmarole, stop fucking with their brains and nervous systems on every level, share the adult shit with them, encourage them to organise their lives, enlighten them as to how things are, who their enemies really are,what's really going on. It softens them up while emboldening their attitudes to the real targets.
The thugs come from those families and milieu where the orchestrated shit is taken as a given
