What’s going on with the weather in Yorkshire? How does it feel to have the whole jet stream directed and dumped on you? Didn’t this record-breaking rainfall coincide nicely with Arnie the eco-warrior’s talk with Blair at Downing Street on his personal crusade to terminate Global Warming? Dam’s are at bursting point, rivers and reservoirs are overflowing. I guess that means the record-breaking drought is over along with the hose-pipe ban, water meters, and the need to share baths to preserve water?  It's going to be a long damp summer....

I was going to say exactly the same thing Oregonal.
It wasnt quite right was it? Very unkind weather that seemed to go on the whole day.
If you have ever been to a potentially consciousness uplifting festival you may have experienced the same kind of shower, that dispels everyone.
Call me paranoid but it seemed like artifial weather.
More reasons to feel unstable, a climate change tax, and chemtrails to combat climate change????

I'm a veteran of the Reading and Knebworth festivals, so I enjoy a good mud bath, but this is ridiculous and it's countywide!

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/6245752.stm

It's getting people ACCLIMATED to the evacuation drill, (conducted by the army) and relocation to the 'Home Counties' (a euphemism for internment camp.)

Plus lots of people are having problems with their internet connections. I certainly am. It's doing my head in. I'm on AOL and it keeps disconnecting all the bloody time!

I was out of the country last week. Usually you can detect signs of weather manipulation from the sky activity. I notice that the skywards black-ops forum reports satellite pictures of extra heavy UK-wide chemtrailing here last week.
I'd have expected to see regularly segmented HAARP-vibed cloud (natural or ct originated) cloud formations or other anomalous cloud formations, if weather mod was occurring.
I was in the south of France, and the skies weren't like any mediterranean skies as they used to be. While I saw no actual chemtrailing, obvious residues were regularly drifting in from elsewhere nearby, and as my son pointed out to me on a couple of occasions, the sky turned briefly but distinctly purple.

Where in the South of France, Paul?

I'm getting a pull towards that part of the world. I was near Bordeaux a couple of years ago. Fabulous Atlantic surf.

France is such a huge country. That area sounds fascinating what with the Cathars and all that. I drove down that way past the beautiful new bridge that spans a huge valley. I think it was designed by Norman Foster. The area is suposed to be the least populated of France. I once knew somebody who stayed on a kind of commune there called  L'Arch. Empty villages and all that. What brought you down there? Romance? Go on, tell us your tale of woe!
Stevensons Travels with a Donkey is a good read though that is mostly about the Cevanne.

and a bleeding heat wave in southern Europe! 140 degrees in Greece burning fruit off trees. That is not being reported much on the news. I wonder why?

They create these weather fronts in the mid-Atlantic and then steer them in.

In London, I swear the rain is being turned on and off with a tap, and despite the depressing black Dor cloud hanging over us and humidity, these downpours are not accompanied by electric storms, as you'd expect at this time of year.

It all very odd, and ARTIFICIAL!!!!!!

Evaluators, fresh from the deliberate deluge in New Orleans, are coming to South Yorkshire with their expert advice. Coincidence?

Good point Mick, crops everywhere are either being destroyed by too much rain or not enough. Food shortages and price hikes could be on the horizon.

Its happened again.
I am in shock. Residents of Hebden Bridge are being warned to be prepared to evacuate.
Freak weather has been predicted nicely for us or is this just another drill? An exercise for us to follow those men in authority and give up our rights without question.
No doubt house insurance and property will become more unstable again.
Problem -----reaction -----solution-----?
What do you think

Thanks for reviving this thread, Pilgrim.
I live in the hills where there is little flooding, yet road after road has a least mini torrents
I'm sure they'll keep doing this to push the carbon tax

I noticed Leeds city centre is inundated and we had flash floods in London tonight. Australia has had a deluge, following their recent drought. Mozambique is under water again and America is having an Arctic freeze. Food prices have sky-rocketed. It's all our fault, for not recycling enough rubbish!
