I understand your problem evesky.This forum has pretty much failed as a medium of communication and cohesion between supporters and potential supporters of the campaign.
Perhaps we should return to an email list of those wishing, or thought likely to want, to be informed of stuff, or needing a response, or putting forth ideas, as things are consistently ignored here. As I suspect this will be.

Actually, I have a good mind to email everyone as a polite reminder to use this forum as a communication tool. Well, at least the campaign members should use this medium.

I know there are a few regulars that do post - but there is not enough traffic!

Just to let you know that some mates where suppose to come down to the Burnley event from Bradford, but got arrested by coppers. Now this is a shape of things to come.

One of the Brothers went to Tong Street, Bfd to do a few things (parked his car), before he was going to pick the others up. When he got back to his car, there were 30 odd coppers and bomb squad!

He is a electrician by trade, they must have seen the Burnley 9.11 flyers and electrical equipment at the back! They were going to blow up his car, but he got back in the nick of time.

He was Llocked up for 24 hours, interegated etc. All his mates were ringing him up all evening, because he was supposed to pick them up and take them to the event!

He is now released! If they had blown the car, he would not have seen daylight for 90 days.

Try to listen to Islam Radio tomorrow (8pm to 9pm) , I shall be doing an update and feedback from the Burnley event. And will be playing an interview I did with William and Annie on that day!

Perhaps you should mention that incident on your show, Riaz.
Some wires and stuff and some Rodriguez flyers add up to potential terrorist,eh? Hope that some use was served by his 24 hours on ice, that the pigs might have read the leaflet, though it seems an absurdly long time to hold someone who they must have soon checked out as an electrician. Did they make mention of the leaflets in their interrogation?
Anyway, all sympathies and solidarity to the brother concerned. Hopefully the experience will have encouraged him and his mates to become committed activists and joiners. To be openly against all forms of terrorism, including state-sponsored,must be protective at this time, tho in the not too distant future....

Luckily I think, most of the police are just pretty brainwashed over here, with a few exceptions.

We are trying to recruit others to join our campiagn (Muslims for example), and under the same breath we are telling that we can get arrested!

I don't know Riaz. It would be useful to find a sympathetic solicitor for emergency contact, also to establish a alert system so that supporters ans sympathisers get to know if anybody has been arrested.
Has the brother considered making a formal complaint. After all some electrician kit and 9/11 leaflets do not indicate anything like a terrorist weapon. And presumably his credentials will have been pretty easy to establish, plus a quick search of the car would have established it not to be a bomb. Therefore why the length of time held, indeed why the arrest at all?
A pretty clear case of victimisation and probably racism. If the car had been registered in a white man's name, would they have been preparing to blow it up?
Did it make the T&A? On what grounds was he arrested? Is he willing to go public? This troubles me too, especially as presumably one of the grounds for suspicion was the presence of the WR flyers.

I am going to have a good dig at the incident. Soon as I find anything, I shall wright about it here.

I don't know Riaz. I think the least he could do is read them all and summarise them into 2 sides of A4 seeing as he's off Uni at the moment while we all have to work.

Please get to work on this quickly Riaz. The guy might well wish to put it all behind him and breathe a sigh of relief.
But for the future it might be better to mobilize a bit of anger over this. It would be particularly interesting to know whether 9/11 matters featured in the interviews. Sorry to pressure but we do need to know what exactly went on with this

Well, he has offered to be interviewed for the radio station (next week). We shall discuss this tomorrow at WYTC.

There is an interest in this case which would become burgeoning if the full original story were known.
Let's face it, police interest must be focussed on us to some extent.
We must have been part of their investigations.
They've no doubt got us all listed and subject to remote investigation now, if they didn't before.
We must out this story in full detail - I've passed it on but only via third hand reportage.
This is a disgraceful incident and we must run with it - we need to get out of our underground status and declare what is happening in the fullest view possible - and soon  
There is a certain urgency about this and I'm aching to write a letter to the local press.
Please come up with the goods
